Sunagakure is surrounded by a great desert. Even though it seems like a nice village, theres very powerful winds and sand storms.

The Village Hidden in the Mist was once known as Blood Mist Village. It is located in the heart of Water Country. Surrounded by a thick mist, you could possibly wander into this hidden village with out even realising it.

The Hidden Sound Village is an underground compound where Orochimaru can carry out his diabolical experiments. The pathways inside the compound are marked with varied booby traps, including spiked pits, water traps and passages leading to rooms housing his evil experiments.

Surrounded by a thick mist, the Lightning Country's Hidden Village seems to be among the clouds.

The Village Hidden in the Grass is surrounded by vast fields and forests. Its ninja specialize in jutsu involving flora or fauna. Judging from the ninja that have hailed from Kusagakure, it can be assumed that this village is far less pleasant than Konohagakure.

| Amegakure no Sato
The small ninja village of the Rain Country is Amegakure, The Village Hidden in the Rain. It seems to be a rather loosely knit village, as a fair number of its ninja seem to either be missing-nin or end up as missing-nin.Umbrellas are common weapons used only by them and they specialise in water based jutsus.
